The Painful truth of Sharda Pandit from The Kashmir files

The Kashmir files

It's really painful for me to describe what I've gone through today
The Kashmir files is based on the bitter truth of our country's hypocrisy and the pain which our Kashmiri brothers and sisters have gone through

So here's My Detailed Review

A.The positive aspect about this movie
1.The reaserch work -
2. Casting -
3.Dialogues
4.Camera work-

The reasearch work - Director Vivek agnihotri and his Team spends around more than 2years for their reasearch work and interviewed more than 700 real life victims who have gone through this pain

The way Director Vivek agnihotri have portrayed each and every Genocide of a Kashmiri pandit/Hindu through a story was so accurate that it was painful for us to watch

2.Casting -The casting of this movie is The another better aspect about this movie....

National award winning actors like shree Anupam Kher , Shree Mithun Chakraborty ji were the soul of this movie

Actor shree Anupam kher jii have played the character of a Kashmiri pandit (Puskar nath)

The character of pushkar nath was the only survivor who saw this genocide

The performance and the dialogue delivery was so Power that you can connect yourself with his character in the movie , the pain of puskar nath

when he lost his own son,Daughter in law and grandson ,the feeling of  helplessness , how beautifully anupam kher portrayed each and every thing

Great actors like Shree Puneet Issar ji and Shree Mithun Chakraborty have played the character of A high level government officer who were unable to help his friend Pushkar Nath

The character of Shree Puneeth issar ji and Mithun Da have showed us that how much frustated and helpless they are to don anything even after be on a very powerful position

The show stealer
Chinmay Mandlekar and Bhasha Sumbli

Actor Chimay Mandlekar have played the character of a real life cruel person who was Farooq ali bitta

(The leader of Islamic militants in Kashmir)

Just a Gentle reminder that actor Chinmay Mandlekar have played the character of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj    in Pawankhind

Chinmay Mandlekar is such a versatile actor who did an amazing job in the movie I mean seriously you can feel the sadism and  you can feel the cruelty of the character

His character and his hardcore hatred for kashmiri Hindus and India Was shown to us in a very beautiful manner

You can notice a very small detailing of his that even real life terrorist Farooq Ali Bitta keeps blinking his right side eye which was also done by Mr Chinmay Mandlekar in the way ....when I heard his dialogues in kashmiri language and his kashmiri accent when he was talking in English or Hindi you can't even imagine that his mother tongue is Marathi

This shows us that perfect he was in all his characters

(You can hate the Character but you can't hate the actor)

Bhasha Sumbli is such an amazing actress
An NSD passout student

She have played the character of Sharda Pandit

As I mentioned in the beginning that actor Vivek agnihotri and his team have interviewed more than 700 victims (Kashmir Hindus/Pandits)

Every single Genocide which we knew already like Killing a Kashmiri Hindu man who was hidding inside a rice drum

Her wife was forced to eat the rice which was soaked in his blood

Killing of pregent womens
Tearing the clothes of a kasmiri hindu women's
Chopping a Hindu women from centre

In real life All these Genocides happened with diffrent victims (Kashmiri Hindu) but it was showcased us through the story of Sharda Pandit

You can feel the pain and helpessness in her eyes  and i must say that it was way more difficult for Bhasha Sumbli to showcase us each and every Genocide because through her acting one thing i understood that she have lived her character

Dialogues-
Every single dialogue of this movie is not just an ordinary dialogue it's a brutal reality and also it will let you think that why we ever didn't listen to the pain of kashmiri Hindus/Pandits

I would like to mention some of the best dialogues from the Movie

"Sataye hui Log Guns nahi Uthayenge toh kya karenge ?......Par kashmiri pandito nei toh kabhi Guns nahi Uthaye "
(If Tortured and abused people will definitely took the path of voilence against the another community..... Then why the kashmiri pandits have never took the path of voilence)

"Jaha shiv Saraswati Rishi Kashyap huy wooh kashmir hamara hai .....jaha panchtantra likha gaya woo kashmir hamara hai arey tu janta hii kya kashmir k barey mei "
(Kashmir was the land of art, education,Drama ,dance and Spirituality,it was always the land of beauty .....a message for our youth that brutally each and every beauty of kashmir was demolished)

"Kashmiri Hinduo ka sach itna Sacha hai ki unka sach v hamei ab jhut lagne laga hai"

Each and every dialogue have his own depth and hidden meaning which you to discover only if you have the true courage

Camera work
Most of the iconic scenes of this movie were shot in Hand held mode ...some of the people have also criticised this also but according to me it was the best decision

See whenever anyone is giving his monlogue
This hand held camera shots have helped us alot to understand the feeling of the character

Also it helped us alot to connect ourselves with the character

My own Perspective

I don't have many words to describe what I felt today
After seeing the files of Kashmir
All I can say is that we should be ashamed of ourselves for not listening to Kashmiri Pandits.
Home is a place where we feel safe, a place where we can sleep peacefully with our heads in mother's lap.
And when that place is snatched from someone…. that is what we call injustice

Every single fact that was shown to us in the film was absolutely true and the way director Vivek Agnihotri has shown us it is just as beautiful.
The brutal massacre of Kashmiri Hindus, the way they are tortured, raped and murdered was true
